So, you may be wondering… where is the Uncommon Student now in getting a degree? I’m wondering that too! Just kidding. Here’s some information on how my degree is going.
I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Thomas Edison State College.
As of right now I am the proud owner of 48 college credits. A year ago I did not know what that meant. Now I am a little closer to understanding. (just a little, though)
Freshman Year
I CLEPed my Freshman year of college (30 credits) by taking College Composition, College Mathematics, Analyzing Literature, Humanities, and Social Sciences.
Sophomore Year
Now I am working on finishing my Sophomore year of college (another 30 credits). I’ve taken American Literature, English Literature, and Natural Science.
I plan to take Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Information Systems, and U. S. History 1 to finish out my sophomore year.
Did I mention I want to do that before April?
Junior and Senior Years
Your Junior and Senior years are different because you have to take upper level exams. For this I’ll have to switch to more DANTES exams and online courses. I am not there mentally to work through all those details! I am still working out what works where and what counts. More on that later this year.
