I had two follow up posts to Tuesday’s idea on focusing on God more. Here’s the first one.
Thoughts on sharing the Gospel on your campus (as a Distance Learning student).
As a distance learning student, your campus doesn’t really exist. Usually you are studying on your own, taking CLEP exams, and taking online courses. Your campus looks really different, compared to other college kids. However, here are some places you can share the Gospel, tell people about Christ, and/or live as a light in the world.
Taking your CLEP exam
Don’t be afraid to reach out to your test proctor and befriend them. Ask them about their life, keep up with their history as best you can, and see if they need any prayers. My test lady warms up to me a little more each time I take a test. I am still waiting for a chance to ask her about her faith. Right now I’m trying to be a good example of a Christian homeschool “teenager”.
Online courses and professors
Always, always be polite and act in a God honoring manner when you work with someone over the internet. Respect those in authority, respect deadlines, and address your elders correctly.
